上道是以崇实大学和7号线崇实大学入口站为中心的住宅型大学街区。学校周边有超市、价格合理的餐厅、咖啡馆和小型住宅。7号线可直达高速巴士客运站，并方便换乘前往江南和首尔西部。
这里适合喜欢安静本地生活而不是大型夜生活区的崇实大学学生和长期住客。虽然站名看起来很方便，但校园和周边住宅区坡度明显，地图上的短距离也可能走起来很费力。携带行李时尤其要比较高低差和实际路线。
