Jeongneung sits below Bukhansan and Bugaksan around Kookmin University's campus. It feels greener and more residential than Seoul's central student districts, with local markets, neighborhood restaurants, and access to nearby walking trails. This can be a comfortable base for a focused semester or a longer stay. Kookmin University does not have a subway station at its gate. Common routes use local buses from Gireum Station on Line 4 or Jeongneung Station on the Ui-Sinseol Line, so the bus leg matters as much as the nearest rail station. Central Seoul trips take longer, and some streets are steep; verify the full door-to-gate commute before booking.
