Gongneung / SeoulTech / SWU

Gongneung and nearby Hwarangdae form a broad student living area for SeoulTech and Seoul Women's University. SeoulTech is about a ten-minute walk from Gongneung Station on Line 7. Seoul Women's University is closer to Hwarangdae Station on Line 6, with an approximately ten-to-fifteen-minute walk or bus connections from Taereung and Seokgye. This area offers local restaurants, student services, the Gyeongchun Line Forest Park, and generally calmer evenings than central Seoul. The two campuses do not share one station, so choose the correct side of the guide area for your daily destination. Cross-city trips to western Seoul can be long, and the quieter residential blocks have fewer late-night options.
